"I delight in diving in with a company and getting to a place where it truly does feel like I work in-house with them – like we're in this effort together, no matter what, and we can be ourselves. Also, being able to help companies tell their stories to the world is my absolute favorite part of my job."
Let's start with the basics.
Prior to joining BS+Co., I worked in the world of commercial architecture as Marketing + Business Development Lead. I was also Director of Digital Media for a biophilic and permaculture design company. Prior to that, I was the Director of the Knoxville Visitors Center promoting Knoxville tourism internationally and designated creator of city ambassadors on behalf of the Mayor of Knoxville.
I've held a seat on the Middle East TN Tourism Council as Secretary/Treasurer and I've been an officer for the Farmer Veteran Coalition TN Chapter, also as Treasurer. I've sat on the Loudon County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and on its Business, Economic Development, and Education Council.
I am a graduate of three regional leadership courses, am a state-designated notary public, and am currently pursuing my Professional Certified Marketer (PCM®) certification.
I have an 18-year-old son, Skylar, and a 7-year-old corgi named Zoey. When I'm not working, I'm a passionate volunteer with an undying tenacity for giving back.

Charity of Choice
Each month BS+Co. makes a donation on behalf of an employee. In October 2022, Heather chose:
"In 1984, twin sisters Helen + Ellen Ashe embarked on their mission to provide meals, clothing, and emergency food packages to homebound, homeless, and unemployed people of all races and faiths. Their goal is to provide nourishment for anyone who is hungry and to establish a community center to serve as a haven supporting area children and their families in the Knoxville area."
